Irish Electrical Services is an established and trusted electrical contractor, proudly serving Southwest Florida. Originally established over a decade ago by a previous industry professional, the company was recently acquired in early 2025 by longtime friends and industry veterans Tony Persechino and Rick Kelleher, who saw an opportunity to raise the standard of electrical work in their new home state.

After both relocating from Connecticut, Tony and Rick, who built their careers in the demanding New England electrical market, crossed paths again in Florida. Recognizing a gap in electrical quality, craftsmanship, work ethic, and process, they set out to bring the same commitment to excellence that defined their work up north to projects across the Sunshine State.

Rick Kelleher
Owner
With over 30 years of experience in the electrical industry, Rick Kelleher brings extensive expertise and leadership to every project. His career includes serving as Estimating Manager with Ducci Electrical Contractors, the largest union electrical contractor on the East Coast, where he developed a deep understanding of complex electrical systems and large-scale project execution.

As a key leader, Rick oversees all aspects of company management, including day-to-day operations, estimating, project management, and pre-construction. He is also responsible for contract negotiations and building lasting client relationships founded on trust, integrity, and exceptional performance. His commitment to excellence and hands-on approach ensure that every project meets the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

Tony F. Persechino
Owner
With over 40 years of experience in the electrical industry, Tony brings a wealth of knowledge, leadership, and technical expertise to every project. His extensive career includes working with Paul Dinto Electrical Contractors, the third largest union electrical contractor in Connecticut, where he advanced from Senior Estimator to Chief Estimator, overseeing large-scale commercial projects.
As a seasoned professional, Tony oversees all aspects of company management and project delivery, including estimating, pre-construction, project management, and contract negotiations. He holds a Master’s Electrical License in Connecticut since 2000 and a Florida Contractor’s License. Known for his dedication to excellence and his strong client relationships, Tony's hands-on approach ensures that every project is executed with precision, efficiency, and integrity.

Brandon Hurtado
Operations Manager
With over a decade of experience in the electrical industry, Brandon brings a blend of technical expertise, leadership, and an unwavering commitment to quality craftsmanship. He grew up learning from his father, a general contractor, gaining hands-on experience across multiple trades that laid the foundation for his career in electrical work.

Brandon began his electrical journey with SPARK Creative Events, where he powered large-scale productions including the Academy Awards, major fundraisers, and private concerts for world-renowned artists. After moving to Naples in 2019, he joined a premier electrical contractor, managing complex, high-end residential projects throughout the Port Royal and Greater Naples communities.

In 2024, Brandon graduated at the top of his class from the Tri-County Apprenticeship Academy in Fort Myers and earned certification as an NCCER instructor. Today, as Operations Manager at Irish Electrical Services, Brandon leads field operations, mentors apprentices, and ensures every project is executed with precision, efficiency, and integrity. He holds a Florida Master’s Electrical Unlimited License.

Rosa Lazo
Office Manager
With several years of experience in administrative operations, Rosa brings exceptional organization, reliability, and attention to detail to Irish Electrical Services. She plays a key role in supporting daily operations by managing payables, receivables, permitting, and scheduling, ensuring projects and office processes run smoothly and efficiently.

Originally pursuing a career as a Surgical Technician, Rosa discovered her true passion for administration and transitioned into the field, where she has continued to excel. Known for her positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to excellence, Rosa is an integral part of the team and contributes significantly to the company’s overall efficiency and professionalism.
